NAT Keep Alive

NAT Keep Alive:

  • If the Ayrix PBX is not in the same Network as the registered phone or client, the NAT Keep Alive has to be enabled. This option has to be set on the device itself and not on the Ayrix PBX. If the NAT Keep Alive is disabled, the connection between the phone or client and the PBX can be disrupted by a firewall or any similar device in between the two parties.
